Your first coffee order starts with two practical choices: how you will brew it and how much you will use. You do not need to build a coffee program or order a large bag to get started.
Use this quick guide, then compare Biscayne Coffee's four roasts.
Start with your routine
| Your situation | A practical starting point |
|---|---|
| You do not use a coffee grinder | Explore ground coffee |
| You have a grinder and want to grind your own coffee | Explore whole bean coffee |
| You are trying a roast for the first time or brew less often | Start with a 12 oz bag |
| You already know your preferred roast and use coffee regularly at higher volume | Consider a 5 lb bag |
Ground coffee removes the grinding step. Whole bean coffee lets you do that step yourself. Check your brewer's instructions before ordering: a ground-coffee label alone does not confirm that the grind suits every brewing method.
Choose bag size from actual use
A 12 oz bag is a straightforward way to try a new roast without committing to the larger format. It can also suit a household or small office that uses coffee less frequently.
A 5 lb bag holds more coffee, so choose it when your household or team already knows what it enjoys and has the usage to match. If you are unsure, start smaller and note how long the bag lasts before your next order.
Bag size is a quantity choice, not a promise of a lower price per ounce. Check the current product price when selecting your size.
Pick a roast you want to try
Choose Biscayne Blend Dark Roast for its dark chocolate, raspberry, caramel and sugar cane notes. Prefer a medium roast? Single Origin Colombia has orange, caramel and milk chocolate notes.
You can also explore Biscayne Blend Light Roast or water-decaffeinated Colombia Decaf. Each is available as whole bean or ground in 12 oz and 5 lb bags.
Ready to choose?
For a first Dark Roast order, select 12 oz ground or 12 oz whole bean. If you already know you want the larger format, select 5 lb ground or 5 lb whole bean.
Before adding your coffee to the cart, confirm the roast, grind, bag size and quantity. Choose the coffee that fits the routine you have today.
